"Taken Spring 2024 near Crowden. This was the first leg of our 288 mile walk of the Pennine Way. It was bleak and cold. This image was taken of the final half and hour of the first day from Edale to Crowden. Although we did not intend for it to be a pilgrimage, my friend cuts a penitential pose amidst the stark backdrop of the Pennines behind him. We are doing the Pennine Way in separate stages and hope to complete it this Summer."Try it!
