Belonging to the limited “36th St.” series — conceived during a period of profound personal transformation — these paintings are both emotional landscapes and physical imprints of renewal.
Working with oil directly by hand, I forgo brushes, knives, or tools that create distance between myself and the surface. I blend, press, and rub pigment into the canvas with immediacy, transforming painting into a tactile, almost meditative act. Each gesture becomes a trace of emotion — vulnerable yet assertive, intuitive yet grounded.
