In Flavour of Life, Keith Zenda extends his Daily Life series with a deeply human portrait of endurance and care. A mother balances her baby and the weight of daily work while her daughter, in a vivid red dress, mirrors her steps—an image of strength quietly handed from one generation to the next. Beneath the brushwork, fragments of a Zimbabwean food-magazine article remain visible, speaking of “chefs curating African ingredients” and the motto “Don’t chase recipes, chase flavour.” Zenda transforms that printed text into metaphor: nourishment of body becomes nourishment of spirit and culture. The layered surface joins family, labour, and national identity, turning an ordinary walk into a meditation on how Zimbabwean life carries its future forward.Try it!
