"I simply call this "Looking". I took this picture on a very sunny day in 25 April 2025. This is a cross section of the onlookers at a charity abseiling event as they are descending down the front of the very high Europa Hotel, in Belfast's Great Victoria Street. Most of the crowd are staring up as the abseilers descending from the rooftop, but these two children prioritise looking and wondering about a street photographer in front of them which is much more interesting to them. Their gaze is what really makes this photograph and provides an interesting insight into how children and adults can see the world through a different lens."Try it!
