Obsidian Abyss takes a plunge into darkness that glimmers with hidden light. It evokes the stillness of a void both impenetrable and magnetic. Shadow is not absence, but a substance alive with quiet force. It is an image of surrender to the unknown: a cavernous silence that swallows certainty, yet offers a strange clarity in return.
Created by using the Wet Pour fluid art technique on a 18" x 24" gallery wrapped canvas. Sealed with resin, marine spar, and high gloss varnish. Can be hung in any direction.Try it!
