"Lately, I’ve been working on projects that bring me closer to my South Asian side, especially through the people around me. I take a lot of inspiration from old Bollywood films their colour, , emotions and boldness. There’s something powerful in the way those films made space for beauty and feeling and I want to carry some of that spirit into the present into real people and real light. Through my lens, I want to create space for people like me diasporic, in between, second generation, curious, unsure; to see our culture not as something to hide, but something to wear proudly. My photographs are not just images, but invitations to feel home in your own self."Try it!
