There’s a kind of joy that needs no reason—the kind we carried like sunlight in our chests, running wild through the dust and tall grass of the farm. We owned nothing, yet we were kings of the open sky. This piece is my heart’s archive: three faces alight, the middle one sharp as a memory, the others soft as the edges of a dream.
I drew them in charcoal and pastel—smudged and smeared like the fingerprints of time—because happiness like this refuses to stay still. It flickers. It stains. And if you look long enough, it might just leap from the paper and into you.
We were poor in things but rich in laughter. Let me make you wealthy, too.Try it!
