This painting is part of a series I developed inspired by the theme of Rospigliosi Art Prize "Visible Invisible".
I represented a reflected surface as I wanted to evoke the idea of a mirror as a gate towards other dimensions.
I used acrylics, enamel and gesso to obtain this result.

This exhibition host abstract artworks from the Light, the Shadows and the Mirrors series. This group of contemporary paintings are a selection representative of the evolution of the artistic path of Elide Pizzini.
The artist represented a reflected surface as she wanted to evoke the idea of a mirror as a gate towards other dimensions. Then the reflections and darkness evolved into strong neon colors evocative of the power of Light.
The title is a quote from poem "A Boat Beneath a Sunny Sky" by Lewis Carroll
