This piece represents my emotional state after having just lost my mother. This was the second piece I created following that loss and this is how I imagine feelings are present in our minds - a storm of thoughts and emotions. I particularly like how the three-dimensional effect in this painting gives it depth and the idea that some emotions are closer to the surface for us at a given time while others are rising and breaking through from below. Definitely some anger and sadness at the surface at the time I created this piece.Try it!
