Laugh
Description
Minneapolis, Minnesota
“Starting alongside the global Covid-19 pandemic, my deep desire to become a mother grew to be the most intense it had ever been. Locked up in my apartment, away from friends and family, with a medical condition that left me extra vulnerable to the threat of Covid, I was spiraling in this pain of not just wanting children but not being able to biologically have them. This work is part of a collection of works about this time and this deep desire to have children. "Laugh" encompasses the lightness, power, and beauty of childhood wonder.”
