Description
“Let’s Play Bubbles Again” is a quiet tribute to memory, companionship, and the unique personalities of my six cats. Drawn in pen and ink, the piece captures them all gathered on a windowsill, framed by curtains, their attention held by the playful bubbles drifting outside. Each cat is represented through distinct shapes and patterns that reflect who they are—each mark a reflection of their spirit. I created this piece months after one of them passed away. In life, they were always around me, but I never managed to capture them together in one frame. This artwork became that moment—an imagined reunion, a memory frozen in time. The title echoes a simple joy we shared: playing with bubbles. It is a love letter to the ones still with me, and to the one who lives on in the quiet corners of my home and heart.
