Reflections Perranporth Beach is an original oil painting in my wave series. It shows passing clouds reflected in the wet sandy beach with crashing ocean waves in many shades of turquoise. The beaches of the South Devon coastline and Cornwall have inspired this painting. One of my favourites is Perranporth beach. Because the beach is so huge, it almost feels as if you have the place to yourself. There are rockpools, caves, a stream and Chapel Rock, with a small tidal bathing pool on its seaward side.The fresh air off the ocean is exhilarating. Early morning you’ll probably see a few horses and their riders having a paddle in the surf. Try it!
