Abandoned Village, Dunquin
Description
I went on a painting retreat to Kerry in April 2022. The area it was held was in Dunquin on the Dingle Peninsula. This area is one of the most spectacular coastlines in Ireland.
One of many fascinating things about Dunquin, is the abandoned village. I can't find the history of why it was abandoned but the buildings are now used as animal sheds or just left. I love these old buildings. I find beauty in them and love to draw them.
