What if more urban planning and structures were built with this shape in mind?
This form reflects the cyclical nature of life. Even the builder of this piece remarked on how effortlessly the parts fit together, naturally filling the spaces that needed completion.
Representing the body that houses the spirit, a vessel here contains the intention. Within it, the soul—the signals of the spirit of creation—charges with water and gold, pouring in an endless flow into the next. These vessels, filled with water and gold flakes, reference the glasswork practices of ancient artisans from my ancestral homelands of the Ottoman Empire.Try it!
