Elegante Elephante
Description
I love animals, especially wild ones. This original painting is done in acrylic, mostly using a palette knife. I've included a plethora of colors along with a good bit of regal gold to reflect the elegance of the grand elephant. It is done on a dark purple and umber background to contrast the glowing nature of this majestic creature. This original painting was 40x30 inches and done on a gallery-wrapped canvas.
Many African cultures revere the African Elephant as a symbol of strength and power. It is also praised for its size, longevity, stamina, mental faculties, cooperative spirit, and loyalty.
