The Residue Series is a photography project that Walt Amerika started in 2015 and is continuously running ever since. It’s a portfolio of photo’s, taken on different moments and occasions.

The random shapes and shades - left behind on three star dinner plates, family life baking trays or any other cooking surfaces _ are captured as visual fixation of time gone by. Hardly recognisable anymore by their enlarged format and their high gloss epoxy resin, these ‘culinary landscapes’ have become art works in their own right.

Each photo - finished with a gloss epoxy resin - is an unique work.
