Maenporth Beach Cornwall painting is inspired by the beach of the same name. It is a beautiful sandy cove, approximately 2 miles south-southwest from Falmouth town centre, perfect for sun bathing, rockpooling fishing and boating. Maenporth Beach faces east and offers great views across Falmouth Bay towards Pendennis Castle and the lighthouse on St Anthony Head. There are some superb coastal walking opportunities onwards towards the Helford river area.
Life’s a Beach Café is located right on the beach and serves a selection of snacks and lunches, as well as ice creams and a small gift shop are also there.
