Kentic fabric is not authentically African but its rich history is woven into our culture. It was in fact introduced by the Dutch although the motifs were uniquely African. At this point I felt the need to create my own patterns or rather use the existing motifs and create a continuation. In time to pray I am taking certain elements of a preexisting design and blending them and creating a new pattern. In life we have daily activities that we create a pattern around. We had done these activities to our young ones because they have yielded us success.Try it!
