A mixed media painting incorporating acrylics, pastels, collaged maps and gold accents on canvas board. This work depicts the ethereal essence of the tranquil Isle of Lundy off the coast of North Devon, focusing on it's beautiful isolation and wild situation, exploring the expansive skies, wide ocean and ever-changing weather and light conditions. I drew inspiration from the atmospheric impressionist seascapes of JMW Turner, whom I studied during my degree.Try it!
