This piece was created over 6 months and comprises of many different techniques and layers. Each layer was planned, tested and curated to achieve the final result. What this painting meant to me was a way of trying to explain my ‘mindscape’ – how I thought, felt, how indecisive and unsure I was with my life. How I wanted to explore further into philosophy, art, the way our minds work and our religious beliefs but how I also felt the need to pursue a 9-5 career. It was time of my life where I was extremely uncertain and I wanted to produce a piece of art that reflected this.
