The surface of this artwork is an old cement bag. A cement bag that I worked with when helping my dad on the building site. The cement bag was used in order to lay a brick pathway . It was then thrown away into the skip. I wanted to challenge this kind of wasteful behaviour as an artist by testing the possibilities of something that is so typically thrown away without thinking, by putting this bag through several experimental processes to see how interesting, intriguing, and exciting a cement bag can become.Try it!
