Project Description: Through exploration of the personal collection and archive, staged photography of the collective memories and the self-portraiture, il’s ongoing project “unrealised beings” continual intertwining of identity experiences from her personal history with the occurring situations in the present life. The making of hanging scrolls, as a means of presenting and viewing the centred photographic prints, unveils and sheds light on identities unfulfilled, dissented and repudiated, compelling contemplation on the predicaments of belonging and becoming.
The figures in paintings are fluid and shared the same organs and body as if they are searching for the speculative substantiality of the amorphous biomorph.Try it!
