Project Description: The works I am submitting for the exhibition are some of my most recent works. I have rethought painting, combining figuration and abstraction to explore the duality of group relations: cohesion and dispersion, connection and disconnection, existence and non-existence. I believe that people cannot live without groups, so group relationship is what I have been exploring at present. I like the uncertainty, the connectedness, the intrusion, the hurt, the closure, the limitation, the violence-filled, the ambiguity in group relations. My mother's theory of "everything has a soul" has always influenced me, and I am passionate about the everyday things around me. This is why I have recently explored fireworks, spotlights and balloons. They always exist in groups and are very ephemeral. This is in line with the feeling I want to express in the group relationship.Try it!
