Elements of Nature is a ceramic wall piece, consisting of 9 small stoneware tiles, or tessellae, each about 3 cms square. They are individually decorated with colourful glazes and molten glass. The whole piece is arranged in a box frame, 25x25 cms. It is designed to be displayed either alone or as part of a grouping of several pieces. It is taken from forms found in nature, expressed in an abstract idiom.
