This artwork came from my own personal art therapy while I was struggling to adjust to a new living environment moving from a sugar cane country town in Queensland to the busy city of Melbourne. To cope with the crowds surrounding me, I often viewed familiar images of the Queensland countryside. I realized that most people would have environments that they would remember which gives them a feeling of safety. The blue eye is of someone who is familiar with the city and the brown eye is someone familiar with the country, but they can communicate with each other. I have also created a larger watercolor painting of the same image.Try it!
