The photographer first saw Abushe on the streets of Jinka in 2017. He had to stop the vehicle as he spotted this ‘kid’ with startling blue eyes. He took several photos of him and researched why he might have blue eyes: Ocular Albinism, Waardenburg syndrome or a genetic aberration. Whilst not absolutely sure, he believes it to be the latter. His mother, Fetayo, has one blue and one brown eye, and he has a little cousin Israel with the same blue eyes!

Our Canvas is of the highest museum Fine Art grade available and sourced from award-winning Fisher Textiles in the US. The printing is also done in the US by a family-owned commercial printing enterprise established 28 years ago.

Because we use the best commercial printers, we can spring canvas up to 10ft x 50ft if necessary. We have everything covered for the largest of spaces.
