Antelope Canyon Slot Canyons in Page, Arizona, are a photographer's dream with their unique shapes, colors, and patterns. Despite the summer crowds, I longed to capture an extraordinary image there. Retirement allowed me to leave the office behind and embrace outdoor adventures, including my newfound passion for photography. With the help of expert guides, my wife and I embarked on a 19-night journey from Washington, experiencing stunning landmarks along the way. However, rain threatened our plans for exploring the canyons. Fortunately, the weather cleared, and we embarked on three consecutive days of guided tours. Navigating challenging paths, we captured the essence of Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon and Canyon X, securing my own unique photos. Grateful for the opportunity and surrounded by amazing people, I cherished the entire journey and the unexpected surprises it brought.
