This young zebra appeared to have been born within a couple of days of taking this image. Zebras have brown makings as well as black and those brown markings are more pronounced in very young animals.
The lighter coloured stripes between the black stripes are referred to as ghost stripes. They are quite obvious in the mother zebra.Try it!
