Pictured is a view of the beautiful coast line and jungle of Vietnam, looking from a window in an old and ruined military installment. The bright blue waters of the bay in the distance with the vibrant greens of the sprawling jungle instill awe, and a retro bus reminds of the areas significant history in the not so distant past. The Hai Van Pass was a significant strategic point for United States forces during the Vietnam War, as the pass facilitated important transportation between the cities of Hue and Da Nang. Today, the pass is revered as one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world.
