For some reason, the roots of the trees catch my attention when analyzing the scene and taking a landscape photograph. The root of this tree could not be missing in one of my limited collections, because at a distance it gives the impression of embracing the land that saw it born.
In this photograph, the blue sky and beautiful colors of autumn are reflected on the water of Holmes Creek Reservoir, UT., adding enough beauty to this image. However, the root stands out in the landscape.
As I analyzed and observed the scene, I couldn't help but think it was a hug full of vanity. Perhaps the term is not the most correct to describe what made me feel. As I watched it, I thought it stood out as if it wanted to be the center of attraction, because the root not only embraced the earth, but it was also reflected on the water of the reservoir. Little by little I cataloged it as a root that competed with the beautiful autumn colors and that for me was the center of attraction...Try it!
