Whenever I do a landscape photo shoot, in Holmes Creek Reservoir, UT, I remember the domes of the Layton Temple being seen from there. The temptation to photograph the scene is always inevitable. I always look up, focus on my camera lens, and get a beautiful photographic image.
On this occasion we have been lucky enough to capture the temple surrounded by autumn colors, in the background of the image you can see Antelope Island and due to the drought of the century, we can barely see the water of the Great Salt Lake, which looks like gray lines and that are lost in the distance. Also, you can see the angel who on the dome of the temple is watchful, seeing his city. It's definitely a photograph I like to be able to include in our fall 2022 collection.
