Description
Winter time, I had left Cooke City early and entered the Yellowstone entrance. This route is known as the most scenic drive in America and takes you along the Lamar Valley, a place where wolves are regularly spotted. While I was driving a wolf jumped from the forest over a kind of ditch onto the track. Fortunately, I was able to brake in time and carefully drove back a bit, staring around in the hope of seeing the wolf. My Camera with the 600mm prime lens was in the front of the car. When I arrived where I suspected the wolf had run, I carefully crawled out of the car. With camera in hand I looked for the wolf, he had run a little further between the pine trees at about 50 meters he looked around shyly.Try it!
