Description
During the night we heard the piercing sound of roaring lions nearby our tent where we slept. At morning, we left very early and soon we saw these 2 male lions patrolling their territory. We followed them and parked the car in a position where they were moving towards us, thus giving me a good opportunity to photograph them. On the horizon, the sun rose slowly as the lions sauntered slowly among the vapor-covered grasses. At certain points they stopped at bushes, marking their territory. Doing so they made clear to their possible opponents that this is their area that they watch over and protect their pride (lionesses and cubs).
