Kenya’s Lake Bogoria is one of the best places in the world to view large flocks of lesser and greater flamingos.
To get close-ups from eye-level, you need to lie on your belly in the mud and wait motionless until the flamingos slowly approach. But even in an unusual position where full sunlight reflects on your head and with temperatures reaching 40°C roasting you, it still remains a beautiful sight.
