DescriptionOn Sulawesi, one of the Indonesian islands, crested black macaques were hunted for meat or kept as pets. While these monkeys are quite social, distance must be taken into account, dominant males can be aggressive. I decided to go there and stayed at the Tangkoko Nature Reserve for 5 days to photograph them. Light conditions in the forest are weak. A high ISO is necessary to get a reasonable shutter speed. In addition, these monkeys move quite quickly. The photo sessions produced a range of remarkable images.
