DescriptionWhen I took this image it was fall 2015, they were Africa’s largest cheetah coalition.
For nearly five years, this coalition allowed photographers, conservationists and tourists to follow their incredibly successful hunts, sometimes creating spectacular scenes. The five cheetahs were a combination of three brothers from one litter and two from another. I first saw them in 2015 and at that time they were a grateful media and a sensation for photographers, tourists and filmmakers of nature documentaries such as BBC, National Geography and many others. This rare coalition attracted worldwide attention for their incredible hunting techniques. Large game such as Topi but also adult Wildebeest and Zebras became their prey.
But the famous ‘Tano Bora’ ( Magnificent Five ) has recently lost another member, now there are only two.
