Obsession morphology no.1

Katya Dimova
The shepherd's cup and his little hearts ring back to my childhood. As children, we tore every little heart of the shepherd's cup. When twitching, they ring like little bells. Capsella bursa-pastoris is not only dear to my heart because of that. This plant comes in very large groups in the spring time. I love their persistence and the lust for life. One plant produces over 64,000 seeds that can germinate for over 30 years. In the Obsession Morphology series, I decide to embroider the wild plants in an oversized format. On the one hand to make the physical beauties of the plant more visible and on the other hand to direct the attention to it and to th nature at all.
